Philosophy is a weird term, you can´t define it very well. Ithink we do not use philosophy for our daily life, but it help us to learn to think and question everything. philosophy teach us to analyze things we do every day and we don't realize we don't know the real meaning of things such as death, life, gravity, why do we exist?, why do animals are on earth?, are we the only living things on all the universe?.... and i could continue asking questions that make us think; but it does not really matters. whats the difference if we know why do we exist? it does not really matters we would still be people and thats all , it is not a big deal. but on the other hand of all this kind of dumb questions we could make a really good and intersting question that could change many things such as gravity. philosophy is like the first step to do big things, but for daily thinking it has not a lot of importance. i like philosophy because its intersting to think about things i have never questioned. Now, the ONLY thing i'm sure about is that i know nothing. there are too many things i donn't know that i would change everything i know for all the things i don't know. that´s what philosophy is about.

Then you wouldn't know your name, nor the stuff for this first partial, nor everything what you have learned so far (even how to walk), so, are you sure you would like to do that change?

If you had the chance, Would you like to know everything? And I mean, everything.
well i wouldn't know my name, but i didn´t born knowing it, i could learn it again and i could learn again the necesary things to live. i would like knowing about everything, imagine a emergency i would know every step of what to do. but on the other hand i wouldn't like knowing everything because i wouldn't have motivation for many things such as going to school, i like going to school becausee i want to know more; i like going to the basquetballs practices to know every single move, etc.
ResponderEliminarso.. maybe i would think twice to change everything i know for everything i donn't know. but what about you would you change it?

I would rather choose, if I had the chance, to could be a instant learner. You know, like in the Matrix, they just plug a cable on the back of your head and load the information; or maybe just being able to deeple go thru a book in seconds.
ResponderEliminarBut no, I wouldn't change it, I believe there is a time for every learning. Otherwise, If I knew everything, I could use that knowledge to improve others people's life, and there I would find the meaning of mine.
Philosophy's goal is nothing less than a systematic world view. Other fields study particular kinds of things. Philosophy asks how it all fits together. For example, if you want to learn about bodies, take a course in physics or biology. If you want to learn about minds, take a course in psychology.
