Hello guys. Today, I'm starting a new topic for this week: DEATH.
Death is something very curious, but is something very natural. Someday death comes to everyone, being old, young, or even children. It comes in any form, for example, we can get sick of something very serious that cause us death, or it can happens an accident like a fire, a car crash, etc.
When I read the second chapter of the book “Las preguntas de la vida” by Fernando Savater (by the way talks about death), it made me think a lot about this subject. It mentions that people are afraid to die, but why people have that fear? As I mentioned, death is something natural, it will happens to everyone in any moment. Something that also mentioned is that death is individual; it cannot be passed to another person.
Many times we say “You save my life”. In fact, this phrase is wrong because in reality the only thing is that it only prolongs the life, because in any moment you have to die and nobody can escape it, no one is inmortal.
Since we born, since our first day of life, we are in danger of death, we always are close to death. On any day we leave our home like a normal day and we can never come back.
To finish this post, I was navigating in the internet and I found this picture with this little story:
Death stood before a landowner to take him away, indicating his time was up. Then the landowner tried to buy with the half of his fortune an hour of time of his life, but death refused to accept the deal. Then he made a second offer: all his fortune for one minute more of life. The death’s response was another no.
Thus was the lesson that we must use our time in life, because when our time comes, not all the money in the world allows us to live one more minute.
